Hi, I’m Nicole! I was born and raised in Milwaukee, studied psychology and political science at the University of Wisconsin, and now I live in Chicago with my husband Matt. I love the Milwaukee Bucks, reality TV, drinking natty wine, and scrolling TikTok.

I started lo-fi events (formerly Nicole Lang Projects) in early 2021 after the pandemic halted my comedy career. I wanted to build a business around connecting with creative and fun people to create memorable, non-fussy experiences that reflect their authentic selves and the people they love. Over the past few years, I've run a bustling wedding planning Facebook group for fans of a certain pop culture podcast (hi, wholigans!). And if it makes a difference, I'm a Libra sun, rising Capricorn, and Virgo moon.
